AHEPA District 12 Governor Message
Dearest AHEPA Family,
As we finish off the last weeks of summer, I’d like to reflect with pride on all that AHEPA District 12 accomplished over the past year. From our chapter activities and community service to the many opportunities we had to come together as a district, it was a year that demonstrated the strength of our organization and the commitment of our members.
I also want to extend my sincere congratulations to Brother Tom Coil, our AHEPAn of the Year, and Brother Nick Gianikos, recipient of the Prometheus Award. These honors are well deserved and reflect the dedication and leadership that make our district so strong.
As we look ahead, one of my priorities will continue to be growing our membership. I encourage every one of you to think of someone—a friend, colleague, family member, or fellow community leader—who possesses the qualities and values that align with AHEPA. Reach out, invite them to an event, and give them the opportunity to experience what our organization has to offer. The future of AHEPA depends on each of us bringing new members into our family. Don’t be shy, tell people about all the good works we do as an organization!
We must also increase our focus on connecting with our Sons and Maids. By building stronger relationships with these young adults, encouraging their participation in district and chapter activities, and creating opportunities for mentorship and collaboration, we can help develop the next generation of leaders. Investing in our youth today will strengthen our organizations and ensure a bright future for the entire AHEPA family.
Most importantly, I look forward to seeing and working with all of you throughout the district in the coming year. I am excited about the opportunities in front of us. Let me remind you, the Supreme Convention will be held in Chicago this summer. This promises to be quite the event. I’m hopeful District 12 will be heavily represented.
May the year ahead be filled with continued success for you, your chapters, and AHEPA District 12.
