Welcome to the Merrillville AHEPA Chapter 78 Education page. AHEPA Chapter 78 is committed to supporting the areas youth in their endeavor for higher education. On this page, you will find information on Chapter 78's scholarship program, rules for eligibility, and the necessary forms to apply for a scholarship.

Order of AHEPA Chapter
No. 78 Scholarship Program
AHEPA Chapter No. 78 and Daughters of Penelope No. 81 are once again offering four (4) scholarships at $3,000 dollars EACH.
Scholarship eligibility
In order to apply and be eligible for one of the scholarships, the applicant must demonstrate one of the following:
A. The
applicant is a member in good standing of the AHEPA family or have a parent/guardian/grandparent that is in good standing with one of the following groups:
1) Order of AHEPA Chapter No. 78.
2) The Daughters of Penelope Chapter No. 81
3) Sons of Pericles Chapter No. 53
B. Exhibit Academic Excellence
C. Exhibit leadership roles within the church, community, or school
D. Provide letters of recommendation.
F. NOTE: An applicant may be awarded only ONE undergraduate AND ONE graduate scholarship during their academic career.
