Governors Message

I hope you had a good Christmas celebration and Santa was nice to you!

Year 2018 is coming to a close. We accomplished a lot in 2018; notably, we raised $15,121 for a Service Dog for a Wounded Warrior, and most recently we raised $3,800 to help provide relief to those who suffered from the fires that took place last July in Greece.

All these were accomplished with the help from the members of our great fraternity. Without your help, these accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.

During the Fall season, the District Lodge visited all the chapters in our district and had the opportunity to see first-hand the work you do and hear your issues. I am preparing a schedule for the Spring visitations of the District Lodge, and it will be communicated to you soon.

Action items in the Spring schedule include AHEPA DAY at the local churches, the Chicago Parade, the Capitol Hill Day, the District Convention which will take place on May 18, 2019 and the Supreme Convention that will take place on July 2-7, 2019, in Chicago.

As we bid good bye to 2018, I am wishing you and your families a happy New Year ahead; may 2019 be healthy, prosperous and peaceful.

Thank you again for your support.
Be safe and stay in touch.

Panos Niarchos
Governor, AHEPA Hoosier District 12
